Kevin Dudley will be Atlanta’s No. 2 fullback in place of McCrary. Keith Brooking will play middle linebacker. Kevin Youngblood got the nod as the fourth receiver over Jennings, who may be injured.

We suspect Joe Horn will start because of his contract, but other spots in the pecking order are up for grabs. Incumbent starter Michael Jenkins will be pushed by rookie Laurent Robinson and Roddy White. Fred Gibson and gunner Adam Jennings may be competing for the final spot on the team.

Robinson, who has been making a huge impression in camp, led the team in receiving for the second straight exhibition game. Gunner Adam Jennings made three receptions for 26 yards. Likely starter Roddy White had two catches for 12 yards and Michael Jenkins caught one for a gain of six. Robinson has a shot to be the team’s third wideout.

Jennings is mostly a special teamer, but saw action in five-receiver sets and caught a 28-yard scoring pass from Joey Harrington in the first quarter. He should only see playing time on offense this season if injuries strike.

Jennings’ playing time came after the game was out of hand, and Harrington hit him for a 7-yard touchdown pass. Needless to say, Jennings remains a fantasy non-entity going forward.

“It’s time for him to deliver,” coach Jim Schwartz said of Williams, who has been inactive to this point. Brown was replaced Sunday by Adam Jennings, but Jennings may go on I.R. after suffering a “significant” ankle injury.

The special teamer suffered a significant ankle injury in Sunday’s blowout loss to the Bears. Derrick Williams has taken over as Detroit’s kick returner.

Jennings was just signed this week to help out in the return game.

Jennings made the initial 53-man roster after excelling on special teams in the preseason, but the Lions saw more potential in waiver add Yamon Figurs.

Yamon Figurs was cut to make room for Jennings, who the Lions waived just before Week 1. The team isn’t happy with Aaron Brown’s performance returning kicks and Jennings is a solid all-around special teams player.
