Saints activated DE Marcus Davenport (pec) from injured reserve.

New Orleans also activated LB Kwon Alexander. Both players will play versus the Seahawks today. Davenport played just 26 snaps before getting injured in Week 1 but the fourth-year pass rusher looked as good as ever. He earned one sack and two TFLs before exiting. Alexander started in Week 1 but was also injured in the opener. The Saints released Will Clapp and Albert Huggins in a pair of corresponding moves.

Texans waived DT Albert Huggins.

Third-string QB Alex McGough was also waived. Huggins spent the past year on Houston’s practice squad after he. went undrafted in 2019.

Huggins signed a reserve/futures contract with the Eagles back in January after joining their practice squad towards the end of the 2019 season. He first signed with the Texans after going undrafted in 2019.
