Panthers senior advisor to special teams coach Bruce DeHaven passed away Tuesday.
DeHaven, 68, was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer in May 2015 and was given five months to five years to live. He was the Panthers’ special teams coordinator last season, but took a back seat this year. He also coordinated special teams for the Bills, 49ers, Seahawks, and Cowboys since 1987. Our thoughts are with DeHaven’s family during this tough time.
