In the worst game of the history of Sunday night football, the 49ers head to Chicago play the Bears.

Expect Krenzel to get the call on national TV next Sunday night at San Francisco. ESPN executives just puked in their collective mouths.

Krenzel didn’t play that well, but he was better than Jonathan Quinn. He has a good chance to be the starter the rest of the season, but is our last ranked fantasy QB.

Uh oh. Jonathan Quinn and Chad Hutchinson are on call.

The fifth-round is firmly entrenched as the Bears’ No. 3 QB behind Rex Grossman and Jonathan Quinn. Quinn will have a reduced role tonight after missing three days this week with an undisclosed injury to his left shoulder.

Chad Hutchinson will get the reigns at quarterback starting in week 13. He’ll probably be the starting QB the rest of the way.

The Ohio St. product will get 40% of the snaps behind starter Jonathan Quinn at practice this week. “We’ll decide a little later on who is going to do what,” coach Love Smith said of his QB situation. Outside of Thomas Jones, the Chicago offense is a fantasy sinkhole.

He was better than Jonathan Quinn, but Krenzel was still very shaky. He’s not worth grabbing in fantasy leagues, even if he starts the rest of the season.

He also lost two fumbles. The only numbers Krenzel cares about: 2-0. Move over, Ben Roethlisberger.

He looked vaguely better than Jonathan Quinn, but far from ready for prime time. Expect a Tim Couch sighting soon.
