Bears signed seventh-round WR Derek Kinder to a four-year contract.
Kinder showed tremendous ability as a sophomore at Pitt in 2006, but missed all of 2007 with a torn ACL. His 2008 numbers were unimpressive, but Pitt was a run-first team with quarterback issues. Kinder has deep threat potential, but he’ll need a strong summer to make the final roster.
