It’s good to know Collins, who was coming on as Houston’s No. 2 receiver in recent week, won’t miss the rest of the year. Collins did not practice Wednesday and should be considered highly doubtful to play in Week 8 against the Titans. Phillip Dorsett and Chris Moore have some deep-league appeal if Collins is out. Dorsett caught three of his four targets last week after Collins’ exit -- one for a touchdown.

Levens finishes his career with 4,955 rushing yards, 2,334 receiving yards and 53 touchdowns. He finished third in the NFL in total yards during the 1997 season, when Green Bay lost the Super Bowl to Denver.

Don’t expect Levens or Reno Mahe to have a significant role in the offense anytime soon.

The team is carrying an extra linebacker because of Nate Wayne’s injury. They also may look for O-line help in the wake of Shawn Andrews’ broken leg.

Levens ran with the Eagles during the preseason before being released. He’ll split backup duties in Philly with Reno Mahe. Only consider picking him up in large roster leagues.

Levens should safely be ahead of Reno Mahe and Eric McCoo on the running back depth chart.

Levens obviously won’t play a primary role even if he does return. But his place on the roster would squash Reno Mahe’s fantasy mojo.

We hope you didn’t draft him this weekend. We’re guessing Philly will pick up another runner, but for now it’s Brian Westbrook, Reno Mahe, and FB/RB Thomas Tapeh.

With a big lead, Levens got his most extensive work of the season. But he’s still far away from being a fantasy factor.

He looked surprisingly spry. If Westbrook’s injury proves serious, Levens should be a hot pickup in all leagues.
