    Panthers released CB Greg Mabin.
The Panthers made most of their moves on Sunday and Monday following their final preseason tune-up, but waited until Tuesday for their final three cuts. Also waived or released earlier in the week were QB Jake Luton, RB Camerun Peoples, WR Gary Jennings, WR CJ Saunders, T Larnel Coleman, DL Antwuan Jackson, LB Bumper Pool, S Collin Duncan, S Josh Thomas, CB Rejzohn Wright, K Matthew Wright, RB Spencer Brown, WR Shi Smith, WR Javon Wims, WR Josh Vann, OL Justin McCray, OL Michael Jordan, OL Deonte Brown, OL Sam Tecklenburg, OL JD Direnzo, DL Raequan Williams, OLB Kobe Jones, OLB Eku Leota, OLB Jordan Thomas, ILB Deion Jones, ILB Brandon Smith, ILB Ace Eley, S Eric Rowe, CB Keith Taylor, CB Stantley Thomas-Oliver, CB Herb Miller, CB Mac McCain, and CB Mark Milton.

    Titans signed CB Greg Mabin.
Tennessee placed rookie CB Caleb Farley on IR on Tuesday, so they were in dire need of help for a secondary unit that has already been torched through the air this season. Mabin figures to add depth to the back half of the Titans’ defense. He made four starts and five appearances for the Jaguars in 2020.

  • Titans released C Spencer Pulley.
Tennessee reached an injury settlement with Pulley and DB Greg Mabin. Both players were placed on injured reserve last week. Pulley did not play in 2020 and is now dealing with an unknown injury. At 28 years old, the veteran center may struggle to find a team before the season starts.

  • FA Cornerback
    Bengals signed CB Greg Mabin.
Mabin yo-yoed on and off the 53-man roster last season, making nine appearances for the league’s worst team. With the Bengals splurging in free agency and in enviable draft position, Mabin will have a tough time cracking the 53-man roster.

  • FA Cornerback
    Bengals waived DB Greg Mabin.
The team activated OL Alex Redmond (suspension) to the 53-man roster in a corresponding move. Initially expected to stick as a reserve in Cincinnati given their concentrated efforts to sign additional linemen this offseason, Redmond will likely play snaps immediately following numerous injuries and losses to that unit.
  • FA Cornerback
    49ers waived/injured CB Greg Mabin.
That clears a roster spot for Quinten Rollins, who the Niners signed on Friday. Mabin appeared in 13 games for San Francisco last year including one start, recording 16 tackles and one forced fumble over 163 defensive snaps. He should resurface when healthy.
  • FA Cornerback
    49ers re-signed CB Greg Mabin to a one-year, $645,000 contract.
Mabin was an exclusive rights free agent. He played 163 shaky snaps on defense in 2018.
