  • FA Tackle #66
The Steelers extended OT Trai Essex, OG Chris Kemoeatu, and LS Greg Warren restricted free agent tenders on Thursday.
Essex, a disappointing former third-round pick out of Northwestern, should draw no interest on the RFA market. Kemoeatu likely got a second-round tag.
  • Steelers LS Greg Warren tore his ACL Sunday. He will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season.
LB James Harrison stepped in when Warren went down and promptly blew the game with an errant snap. The Steelers will sign a free agent long snapper this week to handle the duty for the remainder of the season.
  • Steelers LS Greg Warren was carted off Sunday after suffering a knee injury.
Warren injured the knee, then began making his way to the sideline before the knee just buckled on him and he couldn’t get back up. Darnell Stapleton, who’s also been playing offense of late, is the backup long snapper.
