  • JAX Wide Receiver #81
Jaguars signed WR Austin Trammell, formerly of the Rams.
The Jaguars released interior offensive lineman Jack Anderson in a corresponding move. Trammell earned just 10 targets through three NFL seasons, largely operating as a special teams contributor. His 0.6 missed tackles forced per punt return rank seventh among 26 NFL players with at least 25 total returns.
  • JAX Center #67
Jaguars claimed OL Jack Anderson, formerly of the Colts, off waivers.
Anderson was waived by the Colts earlier in the week and now lands with the Jaguars. The former 2021 seventh-round pick is now on his fourth different team since entering the league and will likely have a chance to compete for a spot on the Jaguars’ 53-man roster. Anderson has seen regular season reps at tackle, center, and guard, but has played in just 15 games through his first three years.
  • FA Center #67
    Colts waived OL Jack Anderson.
Anderson was a seventh-round pick of the Bills in 2021 and has also played for the Eagles, Giants, and Colts, appearing in 15 games over the last three years. Anderson didn’t take an offensive snap last season for the Colts but has experience at tackle and along the interior.
  • IND Center #67
Colts signed OC Jack Anderson to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.
Anderson was a 2021 sixth round pick of the Buffalo Bills out of Texas Tech. He was a four-star, top-100 overall recruit in the 2017 class who possesses the ideal strength and frame for a power-running scheme. Another former Buffalo Bills offensive lineman, Ike Boettger, was released to make room for Anderson.

Bills selected Texas Tech OL Jack Anderson with the No. 236 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Anderson (6'5/315) was a four-star, top-100 overall recruit in the 2017 class who chose to stay in the state of Texas to play for the Red Raiders over offers from all over the country. He flashed immediately, earning Freshman All-American honors, and ultimately became a four-year starter. Anderson’s strength, length, power and predilection to scrap give him an army’s arsenal in the run game. When Anderson plays under control in this phase -- scrappy not possessed -- he tends to move opponents backwards with powerful, indefatigable leg drive. When he doesn’t, he arrives out-of-control, murderous, shoulders angled haphazardly. Anderson has more issues in pass protection due to athletic limitations and playing too high, with inconsistent hand usage. Anderson coughed up three sacks and seven pressures in 459 pass-pro reps last year, worse than you’d like to see for a 22-year-old four-year starter headed to the NFL. Assuming his shoulder is medically cleared from his 2019 season-ending injury, Anderson provides starting tools for a power run scheme.

  • FA Guard #67
NFL.com draft analyst Lance Zierlein projects Texas Tech G Jack Anderson as a backup-caliber guard who could develop into a low-end starter.
Anderson (6'5/315) was a mainstay on the Texas Tech offensive line, as he started each of the 38 games in which he appeared for the program. The senior right guard, who missed nine games in 2019 due to an upper body injury, came back to make ten starts for the Red Raiders this season. Zierlein praises the stout guard for his quick feet and toughness, but also calls out his lack of core strength and tendency to overstep lateral blocks. Anderson projects to be a Day 3 selection in this spring’s draft, which is scheduled for April 29-May 1.

  • FA Guard #67
Texas Tech senior G Jack Anderson announced on December 5 that he would forego his remaining eligibility and enter the 2021 NFL Draft.

  • FA Guard #67
Texas Tech junior G Jack Anderson will return to school for the 2020 season.
We like it for Anderson, who missed the final two months of the campaign due to an upper body injury which required surgery. The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder will hopefully be able to give scouts a full season to evaluate in 2020. Anderson started 12 games at right guard during a healthy 2018 season.

Texas Tech junior C Jack Anderson has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to an upper body injury.
Texas Tech HC Matt Wells revealed after Saturday’s win over Oklahoma State that Anderson (6'5/320) suffered the upper body the week prior against Oklahoma. The junior center will undergo surgery, thus ending his 2019 season after four games. He has yet to take a redshirt year, so in theory it should not be difficult for the junior to receive an extra season of eligibility from the NCAA. Sophomore Dawson Deaton started at center in place of Anderson on Saturday, and that will remain the case moving forward.

Texas Tech HC Matt Wells said that junior OL Jack Anderson (undisclosed) will be a limited participant in spring practice.
Anderson (6'5/320) is recovering from surgery which he underwent to repair an earlier undisclosed injury concern. While he won’t quite be ready to roll in full come the spring, the expectation is that Anderson will be without limitation once we hit the summer.
