Georgia Tech redshirt senior WR Jalen Camp declared for the NFL Draft.
Camp (6'2/217) emerged as a consistent piece of the Georgia Tech offense, reeling in 29-of-48 targets for a 62 percent catch rate, 439 yards and four touchdowns. He wasn’t particularly elusive, as he didn’t break a single tackle while averaging 4.2 yards after catch. The redshirt senior earned a 64.0 receiving rating according to PFF College, which amounts to him performing at an average collegiate level. He will need an impressive set of post-season testing in order to squeeze into the Day 3 conversation.

  • Wide Receiver
Georgia Tech redshirt senior WR Jalen Camp earned five receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown in Thursday’s 34-20 loss to Pitt.
Though nobody cleared the 100-yard mark, Camp (6'2/217) and his 97 yards were closer than anyone else got. Camp had yet to clear the 100-yard mark at all this season, so doing so would have been a nice feat to add to his resume. If nothing else, Camp can say that he started Georgia Tech’s small comeback efforts with GT’s first touchdown of the day in the third quarter. Perhaps Camp can make one last run at triple-digits next week against Miami.

  • Wide Receiver
Georgia Tech redshirt senior WR Jalen Camp caught one pass for 59 yards and a score in a 73-7 loss on Saturday to Clemson.
If you’re only going to have one catch, why not make it a touchdown? Camp and freshman quarterback Jeff Sims connected on a 59-yard touchdown to tie the game at 7-7 in the middle of the first quarter. Clemson scored the next 66 points. Camp (6'2/220) will get a chance for more touches next Saturday when the Yellow Jackets face off against Boston College.

  • Wide Receiver
Georgia Tech senior WR Jalen Camp underwent season-ending surgery to repair an undisclosed injury concern.
Camp (6'2/217) is right at the threshold for a redshirt, having played in four games this season. As thus, he will be able to save a year of eligibility, here, before returning for one (presumably) last season in 2020. The senior wideout ends his injury-shortened fall campaign having caught six passes for 125 yards and a touchdown. Adonicus Sanders, PeJe’ Harris, Jordan Huff, John Blancato and Nazir Burnett around among the options the Yellow Jackets could turn to in the receiving corp now that Camp is down for the count.
  • Wide Receiver
Georgia Tech junior WR Jalen Camp (lower body) is expected back for Thursday’s game against Virginia Tech.
Camp (6'2/217) was not available for Saturday’s contest against Duke, but the Yellow Jackets will have the wideout back for Thursday against the Hokies -- assuming there are no set backs. He has six catches on the season, but he’s one of the better deep threats on the offense and could see some targets if Georgia Tech needs to throw the football.
