Panthers signed RB Jamall Lee out of Bishop College in Quebec.
This one is intriguing. Lee, a big back at 6'2/225, set CFL combine records for the forty-yard dash at 4.39 and the vertical at 44 inches. His father Orville was the last Canadian to lead the CFL in rushing, back in 1988. Lee won’t see the field behind DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, but he’s clearly a freakish athlete.

The B.C. Lions traded up in Saturday’s Canadian Football League draft to select recent Panthers signee Jamall Lee third overall.
B.C. gave up 6th and 13th overall selections. Clearly the Lions are banking on Lee not making the Panthers, and it doesn’t look like he will. He’s behind DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, and rookie Mike Goodson.
