Texans acquired CB Ka’Dar Hollman from the Packers in exchange for a 2020 seventh-round pick.
Green Bay’s compensation in the trade hasn’t been announced yet but we can assume it’s a very late pick. Hollman has started just one game for the Packers since they drafted him in the fifth round two years ago. He’ll serve as a depth option for the depleted Houston secondary.

  • HOU Cornerback #32
Packers selected Toledo CB Ka’dar Hollman with the No. 185 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Hollman (6’0/196) was a three-year starter in the Rockets’ secondary, logging 29 career pass breakups and two picks despite beginning his career as a non-preferred walk-on. He was also snubbed for a Combine invite. A favorite of Athletic draft guru Dane Brugler, Hollman is a long, plus-sized press corner with developmental upside with a chance to become a starter if coached up.

NJ Advance Media’s Mike Kaye reports that Toledo CB Ka"dar Hollman will take part in the Philadelphia Eagles’ local pro day on April 17.
While Hollman did not receive an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6-foot, 190-pounder showed out well during his pro day testing earlier this month, with Draft Analyst’s Tony Pauline relaying that the cornerback was clocked in the 40-yard dash as fast as 4.37 seconds while posting a 39-inch vertical jump. Per Pauline, the Giants, Titans, Texans and Dolphins all earlier met with Hollman around his pro day. A three-year starter at Toledo, Hollman will be crossing his fingers for a late Day 3 selection come April’s draft.

Toledo CB Ka’Dar Hollman ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds on Tuesday during his Pro Day.
Hollman (6'0/190) also showed out in several other areas, with a 38.5-inch vertical, and Brian Buckley of the Toledo Blade also says he had a strong day in the defensive back drills. Hollman was a start for two-plus years with the Rockets, and was viewed as one of the best corners in the MAC conference. This kind of testing should at least get scouts to review more tape, if not help his draft stock.

Toledo senior CB Ka’Dar Hollman accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game.
Hollman has been a started for the past two-plus years for the Rockets, and the 6-foot, 190-pound defender has been one of the best corners in the MAC. The senior has shown the ability to make plays on the ball, but will have questions about his size. He’ll get a chance to show he can stick on the outside, but he might profile best as a slot corner at the next level.
