The Giants did not extend a tender to exclusive rights free agent RB Kay-Jay Harris, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Harris is 30 and coming off a serious ankle/foot injury, so no one will rush to sign him. He figures to finish his career with just three carries.

Nick Saban says RB Kay-Jay Harris is a candidate for carries in 2006.
Harris spent last year on the practice team but with Ricky Williams suspended, Harris will push Travis Minor, Sammy Morris, and Gerald Riggs Jr. for looks behind Ronnie Brown.
