On Wednesday’s season premiere of HBO’s Hard Knocks, Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum indicated that rookie OLB Kevin Basped’s knee injury is career-threatening.
Basped was waived/injured Sunday, so he won’t be on the roster regardless. However, it was repeatedly mentioned that the talented undrafted rookie “has bad knees.” He may need a microfracture procedure to forge a career.
