The participants include Nick Underhill, Mike Triplett, John Hendrix and Adam Guttuso. Kamara’s status with the team is still up in the air, and Underhill notes that all four reporters “have Kamara on the roster for now, but none of us really understands the endgame there.” The Saints have reportedly been lining up RB Ty Chandler in the backfield, out wide and in the slot, theoretically foreshadowing Kamara’s role, if he indeed remains a Saint. If Kamara leaves, RB Travis Etienne can be expected to handle a high-end workload. If Kamara remains, his touch count could keep Etienne stuck in the fantasy RB2 tier.
  • ATL Punter #43
The Falcons designated Hayball as their exempt international player, so he does not count against the team’s 90-man roster limit. He played in all 17 games with the Saints as a rookie in 2024, averaging 44.0 yards per punt on 75 attempts. He did not play in 2025. Hayball will compete with veteran P Jake Bailey this year.
  • BUF Running Back #22
Wheeler, 24, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Bears in 2024. He briefly spent time on the Saints’ practice squad last year before making his way to the UFL, where he played for the Louisville Kings in 2026. He was productive as a rusher, posting a 68/370/6 stat line. Wheeler will now compete for the RB4 spot behind James Cook, Ty Johnson and Ray Davis.
  • NO Tight End
Jackson noted that the rookie tight end was “the top target for the team’s offense” during the team’s first day of minicamp. Most rookie tight ends don’t bring much fantasy value to the table in their first season, but Delp could be the latest exception to that rule, especially if Moore plans to follow the trend of 12 and even 13 personnel sweeping the league. Delp wasn’t awfully productive at Georgia, peaking at just 284 yards as a sophomore, but he is a solid YAC creator and isn’t afraid to put his hand in the dirt to block. Delp should at least be on the radar in all dynasty formats.
  • NO Wide Receiver #12
Olave has been on blood thinners after a blood clot was discovered in his lung prior to Week 18 of last season, restricting the alpha wide receiver to individual drills up to this point in the offseason program. The good news is that he’s reportedly set to get off blood thinners in less than two weeks, after which he will look to gain clearance to return to unrestricted football activities. The veteran wide receiver is set to play the 2026 season on the fifth-year option of his rookie contract, making the coming season of utmost importance to his future in New Orleans.
  • NO Defensive End #94
Jordan returns to the Big Easy for a 16th season. He’ll get an incentive-laden deal per Ian Rapoport. Jordan has played 48 and 54 percent of the snaps for the Saints over the past two seasons, respectively. He’ll be part of — but not the linchpin of — New Orleans’ pass rush rotation in 2026.
  • NO Running Back #24
If the Saints cut bait on Alvin Kamara, Neal would probably be in the battle for the RB2 spot as things currently stand on the roster. This seems minor enough that we probably wouldn’t be concerned about it, but Neal was dinged up towards the end of last year and it’s worth keeping an eye on.
  • NO Tight End
Apparently, the rookie tight end picked up a hamstring injury during organized team activities last week. He participated in punt drills as well as walkthrough today. The Saints have one last practice tomorrow before going on a brief break until mandatory minicamp, which begins on June 16th, so hopefully he can increase his workload without issue tomorrow. That said, we are not overly concerned about Delp’s status. He may only be limited to TE2 duties behind veteran TE Juwan Johnson this season.
  • NO Wide Receiver #12
As a result, Olave has been held out of team drills thus far. Olave has reportedly looked great in individual drills, but apparently, he still has some limitations. His camp is also currently attempting to negotiate a long-term extension with the Saints’ front office. He said recently that he believes the two sides will come to an agreement before training camp begins next month. Olave largely assuaged health concerns by remaining active for much of the 2025 season and finishing sixth in the NFL with 151 targets. Hopefully, he can put this issue behind him soon enough. When the blood clot was initially discovered, New Orleans Football’s Nick Underhill reported that the blood clot was “caught early before anything bad could happen” and that he will “be fine.” Olave showed up to offseason workouts in great shape, so it does not appear as though he was limited by the blood clot during the offseason.
  • NO Running Back #41
Moore didn’t outright confirm that Kamara would be with the team this year. When asked whether Kamara would be on the team, Moore only said, “I think that’s how you always prepare.” Kamara and the Saints are in a bit of a standoff, with the Saints seemingly wanting him to take a pay cut while having no leverage to force the issue. The veteran runner made a surprise appearance at OTAs last week to make his presence known, though he was only with the team for a single day. Moore said he expects Kamara to be present at minicamp next week. For now, it looks like Kamara will be a Saint this year. He will likely play a change-of-pace role behind Travis Etienne.
