Aaron Rodgers injures calf

The Packers looked impressive in their 38-10 victory over the Seahawks in Week 14. After the win, Davante Adams explains how the team has managed to turn their season around.

The Packers emerged from Sunday’s showdown against the Seahawks with a win. However, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers emerged from the game with an injured calf.

He told FOX’s Erin Andrews after the game that he injured his calf on the first third down play of the game, and that he believes it happened due to compensating for a hamstring he injured 13 days ago against the Eagles.

Rodgers, who seemed happy despite the injury, said he’ll have a long week of rehab before next Sunday’s game at Chicago.

Two years ago, Rodgers played with an injured calf. It limited his mobility but not his effectiveness.

The Packers were more than effective against Seattle, and Green Bay looks like a team that can make good on Rodgers’ suggestion from nearly three weeks ago that they can run the table.
