Add Ben Roethlisberger to Pittsburgh’s list of walking wounded.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says the Steelers quarterback will undergo tests on Monday after he suffered a “foot sprain” during Sunday’s overtime win over the Bills.
“My foot was in the ground and someone was driving me backwards and my foot couldn’t get out of the ground, so my knee just got bent sideways,” Roethlisberger said after the game via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Roethlisberger finished the game, so we can’t imagine the injury coming close to keeping him out this week against the Ravens. He was only 6-of-12 for 86 yards after halftime, and the Steelers scored only six points in more than 40 minutes of action.
Already short at defensive end, the Steelers also lost Nick Eason to a sprain MCL.
