The Bills have finished another rookie contract, signing sixth-round selection Tony Steward to a four-year deal. The team announced the signing Monday.
A linebacker from Clemson, Steward (6-0, 235) recorded 73 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 2014. He also led the Tigers in quarterback pressures with 13. Should he stick on the Bills’ roster as a rookie, it’s likely to be as a backup inside linebacker and a special teams contributor.
The signing of Steward leaves second-round pick Ronald Darby, a cornerback from Florida State, as the Bills’ lone draft choice without a finalized contract.
