The Chargers have plenty of reasons to be happy right now. They’ve finished September with a winning record, after all.
But winning in October got a little harder, given that defensive end Jacques Cesaire will miss two weeks with a strained knee, per Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Cesaire, starting Sunday in place of injured rookie Corey Liuget, collided with Travis LaBoy while trying to make a tackle.
With Luis Castillo recovering from a broken leg and Liuget expected to need another week to heal his ankle, the Chargers could have only four defensive linemen this weekend, when the Chargers host the Dolphins.
