Washington had a pair of starters sustain injuries in the first quarter of Monday night’s game vs. Seattle.
On offense, right tackle Tyler Polumbus left the game with a hand injury. He came back for one play, then departed again and was seen headed into the locker room.
On the other side of the ball, outside linebacker Brian Orakpo briefly departed with an ankle injury, but he re-entered the game late in the first quarter. Orakpo, one of the club’s key defensive players, is also dealing with a finger injury.
Washington trailed 7-0 vs. Seattle after one quarter.
