Good news, Lions fans: Calvin Johnson is playing today.

Johnson, the Detroit receiver who missed last week’s game in Green Bay with a knee injury, is active today in Cleveland and will be in the Lions’ starting lineup.

Without Johnson last week, the Lions’ offense was a disaster, being held out of the end zone until garbage time. Other than quarterbacks, Johnson may be the single most important player to his team in the entire NFL.

Last week, the Lions had to show how important Johnson is by struggling without him. This week, Johnson can show how important he is with his play on the field.
