Carson Palmer is ready to rock

After scaring the fine folks of Cincinnati on Thursday, Carson Palmer returned to practice Friday and deemed himself “ready to rock” despite a hip injury.

Palmer is listed as probable for the game. He’s one of many Bengals that is fighting an injury.

“You think there’s something wrong with having your first four corners down, your quarterback and your receiver, two of your four safeties,” coach Marvin Lewis asked about his situation yesterday. “There was a little concern in the Lewis household.

“It looked as though today we’ve got a pretty good shot at having most of our guys available. It’s just determining what’s the best mix of guys. I thought they practiced well today.”

Cornerback Leon Hall (hamstring) returned to practice and is probable. Johnathan Joseph (ankle) is questionable, and should return to the lineup after missing a game. Safety Chinedum Ndukwe also returned to practice and should play despite a questionable tag.

Safety Roy Williams is doubtful with a knee injury, but the Bengals are relatively healthy going into their game against Miami. Healthy enough to play, anyhow.
