Casey Wiegmann is heading back to Kansas City.
The Chiefs announced on Friday that they’ve signed Wiegmann, a free agent center who spent seven years of his 14-year career in Kansas City but spent the last two years in Denver.
According to the Chiefs’ official announcement, Wiegmann has started 143 consecutive games at center and has taken 9,078 consecutive snaps since 2001.
Wiegmann, who was selected to the Pro Bowl after the 2008 season, was released by the Broncos last month. He visited the Redskins last weekend.
