After tearing the meniscus in his right knee Tuesday, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Isaiah Stanback has undergone arthroscopic surgery to repair the damage. According to Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News, it’s anticipated that Stanback will recover in time for training camp in late July. “I know that that’s frustrating for him, but he’s got enough time,” Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones said. “He works hard, and he’ll get back out there. I’m sorry that he’s missing this time, but he’s got a lot of work in, working with Romo earlier this spring. “I wish he had the time, and he’s competitive. He’s a great athlete. I think he’ll make a good account of himself in camp. I just want him to get that fixed.” A former fourth-round draft pick from the University of Washington, Stanback has had shoulder surgery twice since joining the Cowboys. He caught two passes for 24 yards in eight games last season.
