Cut by Eagles after arrest, Josh Huff lands on Bucs’ practice squad

Josh Huff is getting another chance in the NFL.

Huff, the Eagles receiver who was cut last week after he was arrested on charges of DUI, carrying a gun without a permit and possession of marijuana, has signed with the Buccaneers’ practice squad.

A 2014 third-round pick of the Eagles, Huff had played for former Philadelphia coach Chip Kelly at Oregon and was a favorite of Kelly’s. But he already didn’t look like he was going to be much of a factor this season in the Eagles’ offense even before he got arrested. The arrest (as well as subsequent comments that showed a lack of contrition) sealed his fate in Philadelphia.

In Tampa, Huff will get a second chance. And possibly his last chance.
