DeSean Jackson passes concussion test

When DeSean Jackson first was injured nine days ago, it was described as a “severe concussion” that could keep him out for several weeks.

With a well timed bye included in the mix, it now looks more likely Jackson will only miss one game. Eagles coach Andy Reid said on his radio show Monday night that Jackson has already passed his concussion test.

That doesn’t mean Jackson is a certainty to play; the Eagles have to follow the league’s protocol with concussions. But Reid said there was a “pretty good chance” Jackson will suit up in Philly’s next game against the Colts on November 7, along with defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley and tackle Jason Peters.

I watched the Eagles-Titans Sunday and Philadelphia looked like the better team for three quarters. Their offense couldn’t take advantage of an excellent defensive effort. Philly has improved as the year has season has progressed, which is typical for an Andy Reid squad.
