Even though Shaun Hill was able to throw this week for the first time since breaking his finger, Drew Stanton took all the reps with Detroit’s first team at practice Friday.

Stanton is fully expected to start on Sunday in Tampa in a game that other NFC playoff contenders will be watching closely.

The Lions are six point underdogs in Tampa, where they will try to end their 26-game road losing streak. Lions coach Jim Schwartz gavea key to the game earlier this week on Twitter:

Key this week against the Bucs is keeping the trend of running the ball after running for 129, 134 and 190 yards the last three weeks,” Schwartz wrote.

That sounds like a smart approach against a banged-up Bucs defense.
