Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald has a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his knee. As former NFL athletic trainer Mike Ryan said on Monday’s edition of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN, a Grade 2 injury could cause Fitzgerald to miss some time, even though he finished the game with the injury.
Now, Fitzgerald has missed Wednesday’s practice. Coach Bruce Arians says that Fitzgerald is “iffy” for Sunday’s game at Seattle.
While “iffy” isn’t an official category on the injury report, it likely falls somewhere between questionable and doubtful. An official label will be applied to Fitzgerald on Friday.
