For some football players, one of the thrills of playing in the NFL is getting to see themselves in the Madden video game. But Giants defensive tackle Marcus Thomas isn’t happy about the way he looks in the game.
Thomas, who is heading into his sixth year in the NFL, got upset when he started playing this year’s Madden game and saw that it mixed him up with the Marcus Thomas who played running back for three games with the Lions in 2008.
Thomas went on Twitter to vent his frustrations, saying he hates the makers of the Madden game for failing to use his correct picture.
I been in the nfl going on 6years and y'all still hav another mans face for my pic on madden i hate y'all hate is very strong but I do

At one point Thomas angrily asked “Mr. Madden” to change his picture in the game, as if John Madden himself is the one who personally handles how every picture of every player will look in the game that bears the Madden name. But while Madden isn’t personally involved in the operations of the game, someone who is -- an EA Sports producer -- saw Thomas’s tweets and promised that his picture would be fixed in the next update.
That appeared to placate Thomas.
Thanks mr madden I love you
