The Giants got some good news Wednesday that didn’t involve bringing in a new player.
According to Tom Pelissero of USA Today, Giants tight end Larry Donnell has been cleared to return to work, via his agent.
The Giants had already tendered him as a restricted free agent, though there were concerns about the neck injury which caused him to miss half of last season.
But he caught 63 passes for 623 yards and six touchdowns in 2014, giving them plenty of reason for optimism now that he’s well.
