Albert Haynesworth desperately wanted to leave the Washington Redskins. So when he found out he was going to the Patriots, what was his reaction?

“Hell yeah.”

Haynesworth had his first chat with the New England media today, and he said it’s important to him to change the way he’s perceived.

“Restoring my name,” Haynesworth said, via Ian R. Rapoport of the Boston Herald. “Albert Haynesworth the Patriot.”

So Haynesworth is happy to be in New England, where he said his role in the Patriots’ defense will be, “Kill the quarterback.”
