The Jaguars have been a busy team since the start of the new league year and they continued to be active on Friday.

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that they have signed former Cowboys offensive lineman Mackenzy Bernadeau. He reports that it is a two-year deal worth up to $4 million.

Bernadeau has experience playing guard and center, although his last regular run as a starter ended after the Cowboys drafted guard Zack Martin in the first round of the 2014 draft. He’s appeared in every game for the Cowboys the last two years and made two spot starts.

The Jaguars cut starting guard Zane Beadles and haven’t re-signed Stefen Wisniewski, who started every game for them at center last season. Bernadeau could find his way into the mix at either position depending on what else the team does this offseason and will provide some experienced depth should better starting options present themselves.
