While former players joining Super Bowl champions on the congratulatory visit to the White House isn’t new or unique, the way Revis has come and gone does create some tension.
In fact, the Jets and Patriots have each filed tampering charges regarding Revis’s post-Super Bowl departure from New England, and his return to New York.
So if the President can navigate these troubled waters, finding bipartisan support in the future ought to be a snap.
