As Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garappolo continues to keep the seat warm for Tom Brady, he’s at least shown an ability to get off to hot starts.

For the second week, Garoppolo led an efficient scoring drive, staking the Patriots to a 14-0 lead over the Dolphins.

He’s already thrown a pair of touchdown passes, hitting Julian Edelman and Martellus Bennett, as he continues to mask their lack of Brady and injured tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Garoppolo is 9-of-10 for 136 yards passing and those two scores so far, looking like a guy who could one day repl, . . . Oh, never mind.
