Browns tight end Jordan Cameron had to leave today’s game after taking a hard hit to the head.

Cameron, who had three catches for 40 yards in the early going, took a helmet-to-helmet hit in the second quarter and remained down on the field for a minute. Although he eventually got up under his own power, he walked straight to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion.

The hit drew a penalty on Raiders safety Brandian Ross and will likely draw a fine from the league office as well.

Cameron’s catch on the play in question helped move the Browns into field goal range. Cleveland has connected on three field goals today and leads 9-0.
