League postpones supplemental draft

And now the process of jerking around Terrelle Pryor has resulted in the jerking around of the rest of the supplemental draft pool.

In lieu of letting Pryor in (or telling him that he’s out), the NFL has postponed the August 17 supplemental draft indefinitely, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

It’s perhaps good news for Pryor, but it’s bad news for the other players like Caleb King (pictured), who would very much like to get on with their NFL careers.

The league usually handles things the right way. From time to time, the NFL stumbles. In this case, the NFL has fallen flat on its face, and it can’t get up.
