Matt Cassel throws ugly interception to Darrelle Revis

Cowboys quarterback Matt Cassel has thrown some ugly interceptions in his career, but the one he threw to Darrelle Revis tonight takes the cake.

An off-balance Cassel heaved the ball into Revis’s waiting arms for a brutally bad interception on the Cowboys’ second drive. That came after the Cowboys’ opening drive showed some promise and led to a field goal that gave Dallas a 3-0 lead.

If Cassel plays like that much longer, it may be time for Kellen Moore to take over. The Cowboys have gone through Tony Romo (injured) and Brandon Weeden (cut) this season, and now it Cassel looks close to getting benched.

With their good field position after the Cassel interception, the Jets drove down the field but got nothing to show for it when Chris Ivory was stuffed on fourth-and-1 inside the 5-yard line.
