PAT WHITE WORKS OUT AT RECEIVER FOR PATRIOTS

West Virginia quarterback Pat White worked out for the New England Patriots on Wednesday with the primary portion of the audition spent performing wide receiver drills, according to NFL.com. White didn’t run pass routes at his Pro Day, but is apparently willing to do so at private workouts. The former Mountaineers star also worked out for the Denver Broncos on Wednesday, per the report. NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock rates White as his fifth quarterback on his board. White has 4.55 speed in the 40-yard dash and a 35-inch vertical leap.
