Tight end Dan Gronkowski was released today, the team has announced.
Gronkowski was signed by the Patriots on September 7 and played in the first two games.
Dan’s brother Rob Gronkowski starts at tight end for the Patriots. Their brother Chris Gronkowski plays for the Colts. Their youngest brother Glenn Gronkowski plays football at Kansas State. Their oldest brother Gordie Gronkowski plays minor league baseball.
