Here’s a nice distraction for all the dysfunction coming from Rams Jr. High: On Thursday night, they’ll look good while being blown off the field in Seattle.
The Rams are peeling the gold horn decals off their blue helmets and attaching white ones as part of the Color Rush promotion. The white horns will match the white shirts and white pants that will be worn as they face the Seahawks and their over-the-top toxic electric lime green uniforms.
At least something from the visiting team will look good on Thursday night. With Jeff Fisher fired as head coach and special-teams coordinator John Fassel installed as interim head coach with three days to go until the next game, it could get even uglier for a Rams team that can’t get to the end zone and can’t keep the other team out of it.
Given that the Rams have performed well in the recent past against the Seahawks, why not give Fisher one more game and then fire him on Friday if they struggle again? While a loss under Fisher was nevertheless likely, a loss under the current circumstances seems inevitable.
