It was about a week ago that Willie Parker summed up the Redskins organization in five damning words: “They don’t care about football.”

Parker went on to say too much of the team cares more about “partying and stuff.” Well, we don’t have much else to post about these days, so let’s hear what the Redskins had to say.

“Man, I seen Willie Parker in the club when he was here. Everybody’s human, man, everybody goes out and has a good time,” linebacker Rocky McIntosh said on the Mike Wise Show, via Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post. “But when it comes down to game time, I can tell you that all these guys are focused on the task at hand, just trying to get it done, put their best foot forward.”

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said Parker mostly kept to himself.

“I know Larry Johnson is a bit of a partier, and those guys might have went out a couple times, but Larry wasn’t even a part of this team, so I don’t know where that conflict came from. Totally left field,” Hall told Wise on 106.7 The Fan.

So, to review: Some Redskins party. Some don’t. And we’re still stuck in a lockout. Sigh.
