Could the Browns give rookie tailback Isaiah Crowell his first career NFL start?
Multiple published reports suggest Crowell could get the call against the Texans on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland. Michael Fabiano of NFL.com reported that Crowell will start, while Browns beat writer Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com reported that it “appears” Crowell will be the starter. Also, another Browns beat writer, Pat McManamon of ESPN.com, reported there were “strong rumblings” Crowell would start.
If Crowell starts, veteran Ben Tate and rookie Terrance West would be the backups for Cleveland, which is in first place at 6-3 in the NFC North.
