The Saints changed their mind on Michael Mauti.
According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Saints released the veteran linebacker Wednesday.
They re-signed him in April, after he spent the previous three years there. He was released in final cuts last year, but came back and played 11 and started two games for them.
He was born in New Orleans, and is the son of former Saints wideout Rich Mauti.
