The Saints had to work to get under the salary cap, and offered some guys up in trade to try to get there.
But one name no one expected to be mentioned was tight end Jimmy Graham.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Saints included Graham’s name among the list of players they were shopping.
That would be a huge surprise, a year after they signed him to a four-year, $40 million deal last offseason. He has a $5 million roster bonus due in five days, which could spark some action.
