Terrell Owens has only won two games in Cincinnati, but he’s personally on pace for his best numbers since his second season with “his quarterback” Tony Romo. (Sniffle.)
It’s no surprise that Owens would like to stay in town.
“If you factor in what I’ve done this year, and obviously with more time and us getting to know each other,” Owens said via Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, “you can only imagine what would happen with this year under our belt.”
Owens turns 37 years old next week and we’ll be curious to see if he gets more contract offers in 2011 after his uptick in production. Despite the numbers, it wouldn’t surprise us to see the Bengals as the most interested team in his services once again.
