Cross another team off the list.

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the Chargers have reached agreement on a four-year contract with strong safety Brandon Taylor. That makes them the fifth team in the league to sign all of their draft picks.

The Chargers targeted Taylor and traded up with the Dolphins to draft him in the third round. There’s a spot waiting for Taylor next to Eric Weddle in the team’s secondary and he seems well-suited to fill it. He spent most of his time at LSU playing inside the box and was strong against the run. That’s exactly what the Chargers need on their defense right now, so Taylor will probably be given every chance to win the starting job this summer. Atari Bigby will be his chief competition.

San Diego also signed cornerback Arthur Hobbs and defensive tackle Garrett Brown after weekend tryouts.
