And now we’ll disclose the results here, for those of you who prefer your content in words and pictures.
My own Mt. Rushmore is depicted in the image accompanying this item: Tom Landry, Emmitt Smith, Roger Staubach, and Tony Dorsett.
PFT Planet agreed as to three of them. Instead of Dorsett, you picked Troy Aikman.
Landry led the way in the popular vote, appearing on 80 percent of the ballot. Smith and Staubach each appeared on 76 percent of the submissions.
Aikman showed up on 56 percent of the ballots, well ahead of the fifth-place Dorsett, with 24 percent.
For those who think Jerry Jones should be in the final four, he didn’t even make it to the final eight, finished third from the bottom with a presence on eight percent of all ballots.
