The Titans fell behind early against the Texans today, but the news on the injury report is even worse than the news on the scoreboard.
David Stewart, a right tackle who has been a starter in Tennessee for seven years and started every game this season, was carted off the field after Texans linebacker Barrett Rudd rolled onto Stewart’s leg in a pile. The Titans quickly confirmed that Stewart had suffered a broken leg.
Although there’s no official word about the severity of the break or any ligament or tendon damage, with only a month left in the year Stewart has already been declared out for the season.
With Stewart out, Mike Otto moved into the right tackle spot.
