The Titans grabbed one of the best known undrafted players in USC running back Stafon Johnson in the moments after the draft ended, but Johnson wasn’t the only guy to sign a contract with Tennessee.
He wasn’t even the only former Trojan. Nick Howell played all five offensive line positions during his time at USC but never stood out enough to carve out a regular spot in the starting lineup. He’ll get a chance with the Titans, perhaps because his father, Pat Howell, spent three years with the franchise when they were known as the Houston Oilers.
The Titans also signed tight end Gerald Harris, Ole Miss; offensive lineman Kevin Matthews, Texas A&M; wide receiver Mico McSwain, North Alabama; fullback William Rose, Florida Atlantic; wide receiver Bobby Sewall, Brown and running back Dominique Lindsay of East Carolina.
