The bad news for the Patriots is that the road to the Super Bowl may go through Denver. The worse news could be that quarterback Tom Brady has a hitch in his giddyup.
Michael Hurley of CBS Boston has posted video of Brady hobbling away from the podium after his post-game press conference in Miami. Brady quickly ducks behind a black curtain, making it impossible to assess whether and to what extent he has a full-blown limp.
Brady injured his right ankle on a low hit from Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Brady remained in the game after having the ankle re-taped.
He’ll have two weeks to recover, but the status of the ankle will definitely be a major question mark for the Patriots -- especially since the Patriots aren’t in the habit of sharing anything more than the bare bones of the injury report.
